Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g pork fillet(s)
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 2 onions, red
  • some tomato paste
  • 1 cup of cream
  • salt and pepper, chili
  • herbs, Italian, frozen
  • Garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the pork fillet into slices and wrap each slice in a slice of bacon. Brown them in a dry pan for 2 minutes on each side, remove from the pan and place in a casserole dish. Brown the sliced onions in the pan’s fat. Add a little tomato paste and fry with the finely chopped garlic. Deglaze with the pizza tomatoes. Season with the herbs, salt, pepper, and a little chili. Add the cream and bring to a boil, then season to taste. Pour the sauce over the pork fillet in the casserole dish, place the whole thing in the oven, bake for 20 minutes at around 200°C, and then serve. Anything goes well with this: tagliatelle, rice, or fried potatoes. I like it best with fresh baguette and salad.
