Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
powerful, but well prepared
Clean the pork fillets and cut into 2-3 finger-length pieces. Wrap each one in a slice of ham. Place the pieces of meat side by side in a non-stick baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour the sauce over the pork fillets and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (convection oven) for about 45 minutes until light brown. This recipe is ideal for guests and can be prepared the day before. Once the sauce has cooled to room temperature and been poured over the meat, let it cool completely and place the baking dish in the refrigerator. This will allow the spices and herbs to absorb into the meat even better. The next day, take it out of the oven an hour before serving and put it in the oven. Serve with pasta, spaetzle, or baguette.
