Pork goulash with pulled pork

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 pack of KNORR Naturally Delicious! Spicy Goulash (seasoning base)
  • 400 g pork goulash
  • 200g pulled pork
  • 600 ml water
  • 6 tomatoes (Roma tomatoes)
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • olive oil
  • 600 g pasta, variety of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

with spice base

Brown the diced meat in batches in olive oil. Add 400 ml water, stir in the seasoning, and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Pour hot water over the tomatoes and peel them. Remove the seeds, cut into bite-sized pieces, and after 1 1/2 hours, add them to the goulash along with the finely chopped pork. Add as much of the remaining 200 ml water as desired, bring to a boil, and simmer for another 20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and chili. During the final braising time, prepare the pasta according to the package instructions and serve with the goulash.
