Pork loin steaks with rosemary

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork loin steaks
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • 2 tbsp peppercorns, white
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Strip the rosemary needles and roughly chop them. Finely crush the peppercorns, salt, and chopped rosemary in a mortar. Now add the oil and honey and mix everything into a marinade. Pat the steaks dry and thoroughly brush with the marinade. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour. Then sear the steaks in a pan with the marinade, then cook slowly over medium heat until cooked through.
