Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 large pork neck steaks, approx. 2.5 cm thick
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 dash of olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 24 minutes; Total time approx. 34 minutes
Sprinkle the pork neck steaks with pepper, paprika, and salt. Drizzle with a little olive oil and massage in, then let rest for a while. Heat up the contact grill; mine has 2,000 watts and 6 settings; I always use the highest setting. Place the neck steaks on the grill and close the lid. Grill the steaks for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steaks from the grill and place them in a dish. Let them rest on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 100°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-20 minutes. I usually pour a little Hungarian-style paprika sauce or herb butter over them before placing them in the oven. The pork neck steaks are always very juicy and perfect for me. I recommend fries and cucumber salad as a side dish.
