Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 800 g pork neck steak(s)
- 1 vegetable onion(s)
- ½ cup curry ketchup
- 1 tsp ajvar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
- dash of olive oil
- 1 small piece(s) of chili pepper(s), dried
- some paprika powder
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Roughly remove the bones and excess fat from the meat. Then cook the meat in a casserole dish or roasting pan at 120°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, dice and fry an onion, chop the chili pepper and add it, along with a dash of olive oil and the rest of the ingredients. Simmer briefly and set aside. Remove the cooked meat from the oven and carefully drain off any cooking juices. Then pour the sauce over it, massaging it in well with gloves if necessary. Let it rest for half an hour and then place it on the grill or in a pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
