Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 pork steaks
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the garlic and slice coarsely. Pat the steaks dry and season with a little salt. Add the vegetable oil and butter to a pan and briefly fry the garlic and rosemary over medium heat. Then increase the heat to high and sear the steaks briefly on each side. Reduce the heat significantly and let the steaks cook until just cooked through, basting them with oil from the pan every now and then. Season the steaks with pepper, add the garlic, rosemary, and a little oil from the pan, and serve on plates. Serve with salad or simply with ciabatta.
