Pork strips in paprika and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork schnitzel
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 4 onions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 125 ml cream
  • 125 ml meat broth
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the meat into strips. Mix the flour, salt, and pepper and toss the meat strips in the flour. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Heat the butter and fry the meat until browned. Reduce the heat, add the onion rings, and brown them lightly. Mix in the paprika, pour in the cream and meat broth, and simmer briefly. Stir in the tomato paste and season the sauce with salt and pepper. Serve with potatoes or pasta.
