quick, easy, delicious and, if desired, vegan

This recipe makes a large serving of porridge. The “glass” measurements refer to a small 150 ml glass. First, measure the oats with the glass and pour them into a deep soup bowl. Then measure the milk and water with the same glass and add them. I usually add a handful of frozen mixed berries. Fresh berries are even better, of course—and other fruits are delicious, too. Depending on the fruit and its ripeness, a little sugar can be sprinkled on top. After everything is mixed, I place the bowl in the microwave for 2 minutes at 800 watts. Then I take it out, mash the fruit a little, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and then place it in the microwave for another 1.5–2 minutes at 800 watts.
