Porridge with berries and nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp, heaped oat flakes
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 handful of mixed berries, frozen
  • 1 handful of mixed nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the milk to a boil on the stovetop with salt and sugar. Add the oats and chia seeds and stir. Remove the pot from the heat and add the berries and nuts. Let it sit. Serve warm or cold. A quick tip: I like to use trail mix with cranberries instead of raisins for the nuts.
