Potato and cauliflower mash with Parmesan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, mainly waxy
  • 250 g cauliflower
  • 30 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • some salt and pepper
  • some milk, almond milk or cream, as desired

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and quarter the potatoes. Trim and trim the cauliflower (you can use the stems). Cook until the cauliflower can be mashed with two spoons. Drain (you can use the cooking water for sauce or soup), then mash and stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Season to taste and adjust to the desired consistency by adding liquid (milk, cream, almond milk). Kids love it, and adults do too!
