Potato and Ham Muffins

The perfect potato and ham muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 75 g Raw ham
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 300 g Buttermilk
  • 50 ml Oil
  • 2,5 tbsp Chives
  • 120 g Flour
  • 1 Pck. Baking powder
  • 0,5 Pck. Baking soda
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • Nutmeg
  • 200 g Salt potatoes
  1. Fry the ham until crispy. Add the onion and fry until soft.
  2. Whisk the egg a little in a bowl. Pour in the buttermilk and oil and stir well. Chives with it. Stir in the ham and onion mixture.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg.
  4. Roughly mash the boiled potatoes and mix with the flour mixture.
  5. Add the potato and flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir briefly.
  6. Fill into muffin molds and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° for about 25-30 minutes.
