Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 ½ kg potatoes
- 1 tbsp salt
- 100 g onion(s)
- 100 g bell pepper(s), red
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g sausages
- 230 ml cream
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 eggs
- ¼ tsp paprika powder
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp chives
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water for 15 minutes. Dice the onions and bell peppers and fry them in a pan with a little oil. In a second pan, fry the sausages in oil. Then remove the skin and finely chop the sausages. Mix the cream with the mustard, eggs, paprika powder, and chili powder. Slice the slightly cooled, cooked potatoes and place them in a baking dish. Add the fried onions and diced bell peppers and cover everything with the cream sauce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then arrange the sausage pieces on top and bake at 200°C for 25 minutes. Garnish with fresh chives before serving.
