Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg jacket potatoes, peeled
- 1 kg tomatoes
- 1 bunch of basil
- lots of olive oil, good
- 250 g mountain cheese or Gruyère, Parmesan or similar
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
without cream
Slice the peeled potatoes and prepared tomatoes. Roughly chop the basil and grate the cheese. Now layer all the ingredients (oil, potatoes, tomatoes, spices, basil, oil, cheese, etc.) alternately in a greased baking dish, repeating as needed. Finally, spread the grated cheese on top. Bake at 175°C (convection oven) for approximately 30-45 minutes.
