  • 125 g mashed potato powder
  • 75 g fried onions

  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ bags of dry yeast

Instructions

for a large loaf pan

Knead all room-temperature ingredients, except for the fried onions, together thoroughly. Add the fried onions last. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Then pour the dough into a large, greased loaf pan, without kneading too much. Bake for 20 minutes at 50°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack, then increase the oven temperature to 170°C (340°F) and finish baking for about 70 minutes. Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
