Potato-Carrot-Celery Baggers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes
  • 120 g carrot(s)
  • 120 g celery
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp flour, approx.
  • salt and pepper
  • Rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely grate the potatoes, carrots, and celery. If you can’t grate as finely, you can use a hand blender. Mix in the eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Place the mixture in a cheesecloth and squeeze out any excess liquid. Meanwhile, heat a pan with plenty of oil. Form the batter into flat patties and fry thoroughly over moderate heat. Turn over once. Serve as a main course with applesauce or a quark dip.
