Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g potato(s), waxy
  • 100 g ham, cooked, cut into cubes
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 25 g flat-leaf parsley (2-3 sprigs)
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g cream (1 cup)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes (preferably the day before), peel them, and slice them into evenly thick slices. Grease a baking dish with butter and arrange the potato slices in the bottom of the dish. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, cream, and cheese; season with salt and pepper. Chop the parsley and ham and add them to the egg-cream mixture. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and bake at 175°C for 30 minutes until golden brown.
