Potato casserole with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg jacket potatoes
  • Oil, for greasing
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ½ liter sour cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 10 g butter
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the potatoes and let them cool, then slice them. Grease a dish with oil and add half of the potatoes. Mix the bacon and onions and add them to the potatoes. Arrange the remaining potatoes on top. Mix the flour with a little sour cream until smooth, add the remaining cream and the egg, and whisk well. Season with salt and pour the mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle with Emmental cheese. Finally, scatter butter in small pieces on top. Serve with a salad. Baking time: 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F).
