Potato Cookies with Fresh Herbs

The perfect potato cookies with fresh herbs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

to fry:

  • 15 g Butter
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 1 Egg
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp Seasonal herbs
  • Rapeseed oil

to:

  • 750 g Carrots
  • Sea salt from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  1. Wash and cook the peeled potatoes.
  2. Steam the onion cubes in the butter until translucent.
  3. Peel the potatoes and press them through the potato press into the onion butter.
  4. Add the spices, egg and chopped herbs and mix into a smooth batter.
  5. Shape the dough into a roll, cut off slices and then fry them in the hot fat until golden brown on both sides.
  6. In the meantime, peel the carrots and cut them into slices. For the flower shape, use the zest ripper to make notches all around. Cook in salted water until firm to the bite and after draining add the butter.
