Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 ½ kg potatoes (preferably cooked the day before)
- 100 g flour (wheat flour)
- 150 g potato flour
- Salt
- White bread, diced, toasted
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mash the cooked potatoes. Knead into a dough with wheat flour, potato flour, and salt. Form into dumplings and flatten. Place toasted white bread cubes in the center and form into dumplings again. (Dust your palms with potato flour to make it easier.) Roll the dumplings in potato flour and place them in boiling salted water. Let them simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
