Potato gratin special

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 potatoes, raw
  • 2 sprigs rosemary, fresh
  • 2 sprigs of thyme, fresh
  • nutmeg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 375 ml cream, fresh
  • some salt
  • 150 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the cream to a boil with rosemary, thyme, garlic, nutmeg, and salt and let it simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Grease a casserole dish with garlic butter (or just butter will do). Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Line the dish with the potato slices. Strain the cream and fill the dish with it. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at approximately 160°C (convection oven), middle rack, for 45-60 minutes until golden brown.
