Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes, waxy
  • 3 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 3 egg whites, size L or 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper, alternatively seasoned salt
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 pinch(s) cumin powder
  • 1 pinch(s) onion powder or 1 clove garlic, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel and wash the potatoes. Grate them either in a food processor or using a coarse grater. Then place the grated potatoes in a kitchen towel, squeeze well, and place them in a bowl. Add the flaxseed, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, cumin, and onion powder, if desired, and mix with the potatoes (other spices are also possible to taste). Divide the dough into two portions. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Alternatively, grease two pizza pans or line them with baking paper. Place the dough on the baking sheet and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Note: The calorie values ​​refer only to the two bases! Tips: You can spread the pizza with calorie-free spiced ketchup, or add a spoonful of mustard if desired. Top with tomatoes and low-fat grated cheese, and optionally add turkey breast, salami, etc. The toppings are your choice. Approx. 280 kcal per serving.
