Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g potato(s), floury, peeled
- 200 g ground beef, reduced fat
- 100 g raw ham, diced
- 300 g onion(s)
- 2 bell peppers
- 3 garlic cloves
- 100 g tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g paprika paste
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
with minced meat and ham
Roughly chop the onions and fry them with the diced raw ham in olive oil in a deep pot until the onions are translucent. Add the ground beef. Cut the potatoes and bell pepper into fingertip-sized pieces and add to the pot. Fill the pot with water so that it just covers the ingredients. Simmer everything for 15 minutes on medium heat. Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and peel the garlic. After 15 minutes, add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and paprika paste. Season the stew with salt, pepper, and paprika and simmer for another 10 minutes. Just before serving, add the garlic and season to taste.
