- 500 g jacket potatoes, boiled, peeled
- 250 g meat sausage with garlic
- 2 gherkins
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp mustard, hot
- 2 tsp, leveled sugar
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- ¼ liter of oil

with homemade mayonnaise
My potato salad is very simple to make; that’s how I want potato salad to taste. Unlike many other recipes, I don’t need any more ingredients. Dice the potatoes, sausage, cucumber, and onion. Mix the other ingredients for the mayonnaise, except for the oil and vinegar, thoroughly with a hand mixer. Gradually add the oil while stirring, and season with vinegar to taste. The key to a successful mayonnaise is that all ingredients are at the same temperature and that the oil is thoroughly stirred in. Mix everything together and let it sit for a while.
