Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
from my friend from Istanbul
Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes, and place them in water. Peel the onions and cut into eighths, peel the garlic, and finely chop. Heat a large pot, add the oil, and fry the onions and minced meat while stirring. Season with salt and pepper. Then add the raw potatoes and fry everything together for another 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the garlic, and after a minute, fill the pot with water and beef broth so that everything is just covered. Then add the pizza tomatoes and season with cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook with the lid on for about half an hour at low heat. Add the white beans and cook with the lid on for another 10 minutes. Season to taste. We eat this with flatbread and sometimes lamb, which is already cooked or roasted and placed in small cubes on the plate. This is a very easy-to-prepare and inexpensive dish that still tastes excellent.
