Potato stew with peas, carrots and sausages

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 can peas and carrots, drained
  • 1 jar sausages (bockwurst), drained
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 liter of water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with a little oil. Then add the potatoes, cut into fairly small pieces, and fry briefly. Add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Then add the water, salt, and pepper, and cook until the potatoes are almost tender. Add the peas, carrots, and the finely chopped frankfurters and cook for another 10 minutes.
