Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g floury potatoes
- 50 g cooked ham
- 50 g onion(s)
- 3 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 some pepper
- 1 some oregano
- some rapeseed oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Briefly crack the eggs in a bowl or deep plate. Cut the ham, onion, and two garlic cloves into medium-sized pieces. Cut the potatoes into approximately 1 cm thick slices – ideally use floury potatoes. Add a little rapeseed oil to a frying pan, preferably a stainless steel pan. Heat the pan over medium heat, using a gas mark 4 on 6. Once the pan is hot, add the potatoes and fry on one side for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Turn the potatoes over and add the onion, ham, and garlic. Fry until the potatoes are tender, making sure nothing burns. Pour the beaten eggs over the potatoes and let them set, covered, over low heat for about 5 to 6 minutes, until the egg is almost solid on top. With a bit of luck, the tortilla will be able to be transferred to a plate without falling apart.
