Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g potatoes, raw
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 eggs
- 75 g flour
- some salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with raw potatoes – simple
Grate the potatoes and onion, stir in the remaining ingredients, and season to taste. Pour the batter into the hot waffle iron and bake. Makes about 8 waffles. Serve with herb quark or applesauce. I find it a good, simpler, and lower-calorie alternative to pan-fried hash browns.
