Potato Wedges with Spring Onions and Budwig Quark with Turmeric
The perfect potato wedges with spring onions and budwig quark with turmeric recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Budwig quark with turmeric
- 1 handful Onion rings
- 1 handful Rapeseed oil
- 1 handful Vegetable salt *
- 250 g Quark lean
- 6 tbsp Linseed oil
- 6 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Ground turmeric
- Peel off the jacket potatoes and cut into small pieces or slices.
- Heat the oil in a pan and gently toss the potato pieces (in Swabia, these are called potato wedges) – since it is light food, frying is not so cheap as it is difficult to digest.
- Under the swiveled potatoes, add the sliced onion leek, now turn off the heat, the onions must not burn.
- Finally, season everything with a little vegetable salt.
For Budwig quark with turmeric
- Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together very well, it should be a nice, creamy mass, season the quark with a little vegetable salt.
