Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g potatoes (early potatoes)
- Garlic as desired
- possibly herbs, fresh or frozen, as desired
- possibly spring onion(s)
- olive oil
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
To prepare in the oven, thoroughly brush a baking dish with olive oil. Peel the potatoes and cut into very thin slices. Add garlic, spring onions, and herbs (single or several), as desired. Drizzle a little more olive oil over the potatoes. Season with salt and mix everything. Cover the baking dish with a lid or aluminum foil and cook in an oven preheated to 250°C for about 40 minutes. To prepare on the grill, line a piece of aluminum foil. Peel the potatoes and cut into very thin slices. Add garlic, spring onions, and herbs (single or several), as desired. Add plenty of olive oil. Season with salt and mix everything well. Seal the aluminum foil into a small parcel. Place the parcel(s) on the hot grill and cook as in the oven for about 40 minutes. Note: If you are making a large amount of potatoes, make several parcels (don’t forget the oil, otherwise everything will stick together). The more potatoes you use, the longer the cooking time.
