Potatoes: Leek Tart Made from Mashed Potatoes

The perfect potatoes: leek tart made from mashed potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 tablespoon Mashed potatoes / mashed potatoes, rest
  • 1 piece Leeks, leeks, rest
  • 1 piece Fresh onion
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil with rosemary
  • 2 piece Organic egg yolks
  • 4 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Clean the leek and cut into fine rings. Heat the oil in a pan and fry everything in it.
  2. Mix the mashed potatoes with the egg yolks, flour and the spices. Add the leek vegetables and mix well.
  3. Preheat the stove to 190 degrees under / top heat.
  4. Now fill the dough into the silicone molds and press firmly so that the mold is completely filled.
  5. Approx. Bake for 40 minutes until the tartlets have turned color. If you notice after removing them that they are still a little pale inside, simply put the tartlets back in the molds and bake for another 10 minutes on bottom heat.
