Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g potatoes, small
- 400 g cream cheese
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3 spring onions
- 2 garlic cloves or more
- 250g mozzarella
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Boil the potatoes in their skins in salted water for about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan/gas mark 3). Meanwhile, combine the cream cheese and milk. Trim and wash the spring onions and slice them into fine rings. Peel and crush the garlic. Stir the spring onions and garlic into the cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Drain the potatoes and peel them while they are still hot. Grease an ovenproof dish (about 30 x 20 cm) with oil or butter and place the potatoes in it. Season with salt, spread the cream cheese mixture over it, and arrange the mozzarella slices on top. Bake for about 25 minutes. Serve with a mixed salad. Clever: Triple the recipe and use the oven tray instead of a dish. This will serve about 12 people and is perfect for a party.
