Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 2 large eggs
- 125 g sugar
- 125 g butter
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 45 ml Amaretto
- 80 cream
- Salt
- 12 pralines, praline halves or chocolate (leftovers)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
also for using up leftover chocolates or chocolate
Heat the butter until it is slightly liquid, then let it cool slightly. Mix the eggs, sugar and salt, add the butter and mix well. Measure the Amaretto and cream into a measuring jug, mix and slowly stir in. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in, stirring well until you have a creamy batter. Line a muffin tin with paper cases and preheat the oven to 170g using top/bottom heat. Let the batter rest for a while. Then put 1 tablespoon of batter into each case. Depending on the size of the chocolates, place one or half a chocolate in each case and cover with another heaped tablespoon of batter. Bake for approx. 25 minutes (check visually; the muffins should be golden yellow).
