Ingredients
- 1 kg Shrimp peeled deveined
*** Mayonnaise ***
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 120 ml Sunflower oil
- 1 shot Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
*** Dip ***
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 4 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 0,25 tsp Salt
- 2,5 tbsp Cream of horseradish
*** ROAST MEAT ***
- 2 Garlic cloves
- Thyme dry
- Oil
Instructions
- First of all, make mayonnaise: put all the ingredients in a tall container and use the hand blender to make a creamy, not too liquid mayonnaise.
- Put the mayonnaise in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients for the dip and stir well, place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Heat some oil in a pan, peel and squeeze the garlic cloves and add to the pan, as well as a generous amount of dried thyme. As soon as the oil is hot, fry the prawns for a few minutes.
- Serve the shrimp and the cold dip.
- The dip also tastes great as a spread for egg sandwiches, or as a "dressing" for egg salad!
