Ingredients

  • 1 kg Shrimp peeled deveined

*** Mayonnaise ***

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 120 ml Sunflower oil
  • 1 shot Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Sugar

*** Dip ***

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 0,25 tsp Salt
  • 2,5 tbsp Cream of horseradish

*** ROAST MEAT ***

  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Thyme dry
  • Oil

Instructions

  • First of all, make mayonnaise: put all the ingredients in a tall container and use the hand blender to make a creamy, not too liquid mayonnaise.
  • Put the mayonnaise in a bowl, add the remaining ingredients for the dip and stir well, place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Heat some oil in a pan, peel and squeeze the garlic cloves and add to the pan, as well as a generous amount of dried thyme. As soon as the oil is hot, fry the prawns for a few minutes.
  • Serve the shrimp and the cold dip.
  • The dip also tastes great as a spread for egg sandwiches, or as a "dressing" for egg salad!
