Preserving: Chunky Strawberry Jam
The perfect preserving: chunky strawberry jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Fresh strawberries
- 1 Lemon fresh
- 1 packet Preserving sugar 2: 1
- 1 pinch Ground white pepper
- Wash the strawberries, remove the greens and cut into small pieces. Squeeze the lemon.
- Put the strawberries, lemon juice, preserving sugar and pepper in a bowl and stir together thoroughly. Let stand overnight (even longer, better).
- Put the next day in a large saucepan, bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Then fill the twist-off jars, close them tightly and turn them upside down for a few minutes.
