Preserving: Strawberry Jam with Orange

The perfect preserving: strawberry jam with orange recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Fresh strawberries
  • 1 large Orange
  • 1 packet Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the green parts and cut them into small pieces. Peel and fillet the orange. Put together in a bowl and puree coarsely or finely. (Both together should add up to 1kg, use more strawberries if necessary.)
  2. Put the puree in a large saucepan, stir in the preserving sugar. Let stand a few minutes.
  3. Now bring to the boil while stirring and let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Then fill the twist-off jars, close them tightly and turn them upside down for a few minutes.
