Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 thick apples, sweet
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp cardamom
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 5 almonds, chopped, unpeeled
- 250 g oat flakes
- 200 ml cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
with almonds, oat flakes and cream
Peel and core the two apples, and chop them into fairly small pieces. Melt the butter in a deep pan and fry the apple mince over low heat for about 6 minutes. Place the apple mince on a hot plate and keep warm. Increase the pan’s heat and toast the oats and almonds in the remaining fat until golden brown. Return the apple mince to the pan and mix well. Add the spices and mix. Let cool. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Spoon the apple and mince mixture into dessert bowls, garnish with the cream, and serve.
