Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp mustard, hot
- 50 g cheese (Emmental or Gruyère), grated
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
- Salt
- 500 g white bread or rolls, sliced
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Combine mayonnaise, tomato paste, mustard, crushed garlic, and cheese in a bowl and season with cayenne pepper and salt. Slice the bread and spread with the cream. Place the slices on the grill and bake at 200°C (400°F) until the surface is shiny and golden (5-10 minutes).
