Pudding cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 2 sachets of pudding powder (e.g. vanilla flavor)
  • 1 cake base (Vienna base, light, 3 layers)
  • ¼ jar jam of your choice (e.g. blueberry)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

very quick, very easy, very popular with children, but also enjoyed by adults

Take the first layer of the Viennese base and spread it generously with jam. Then add the next layer of Viennese base on top. Cook the two packages of pudding according to the instructions, but only with 3 tablespoons of sugar. Finally, stir the butter into the pudding so that it stays soft long enough to spread it evenly over the cake. Spread the pudding generously over the second layer of Viennese base and place the third layer of Viennese base on top. Spread the pudding over the top Viennese base and down the sides. Let it cool a little and you’re done. You can use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla pudding, and if you like, you can also spread bananas or cherries between the Viennese base. With bananas, I suggest adding them to the jam so that the bananas don’t go soft in the warm pudding.
