Puff pastry pizza slices

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, rectangular, frozen
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp oil (garlic)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp spice paste (herb)
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 2 tbsp herbs de Provence
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slice(s) salami, large slices
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick snack, hot and cold

Remove the puff pastry rectangles from the freezer and let them thaw slightly. Then cut them in half and place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Place the tomato paste in a bowl and mix with both oils and the water. Add the herbs and stir well. Season to taste, adding more herbs if desired, and season with salt and pepper. Cut the salami and cooked ham into suitable pieces. Spread the tomato sauce on the puff pastry squares and alternate them with salami and cooked ham (I like to make one sheet of each type). Sprinkle with Gouda cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°-200°C for about 15-20 minutes. You can vary the topping as desired, for example, with vegetables, fish, other cheeses like mozzarella, etc.
