Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 8 tbsp apple compote, homemade
  • 20 g almonds, chopped
  • e.g. chocolate (Santa Claus, Easter Bunny), crumbled

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Using leftovers for Santa Claus and Easter bunnies

Unroll the puff pastry, spread the apple compote over the puff pastry. Sprinkle the almond pieces and chocolate crumbs on top. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into approximately 8 slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for approximately 20 minutes. The rolls taste best warm. They also taste good with vanilla sauce. If you don’t have any leftover chocolate, use regular chocolate.
