Puff Pastry / Ham and Cheese Sticks
The perfect puff pastry / ham and cheese sticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 roll Puff pastry
- 150 g Black Forest ham
- 80 g Grated cheese
- 2 Egg yolk
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Mineral water
- Pepper from the grinder
- Poppy seeds, sesame seeds
- !. Lay out a roll of puff pastry and brush with beaten egg yolk, milk and water mixture. Spread the Black Forest ham on top. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- Lay out a roll of puff pastry and brush with egg mixture and “cover” the 1st roll with it “upside down”.
- Connect both rolls by gently pressing them together and halve them lengthways. Then cut 1.5 – 2 cm strips from top to bottom. “Twirl” the individual strips in poppy seeds and / or sesame seeds and place in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. Bake for 12 minutes.
