Ingredients

  • 275 g Puff pastry roll approx.
  • 3 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tsp Water
  • 30 g Finely grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Unroll the puff pastry roll and coat half of the pastry with the tomato sauce. Then fold the other half over it, smooth it out slightly and then cut the newly created rectangle across into 2.5 cm wide strips (made 9 pieces for me).
  • Preheat the oven to 220 ° O / bottom heat. Line the tray with baking foil or paper. Now twist each strip several times and place it on the sheet with a small gap. Mix the egg yolks with the water and brush the sticks all over with it. Finally, either slice the Parmesan over the top or slice and sprinkle over it beforehand (as everyone likes).
  • Slide the tray into the oven on the 2nd rail from below. The baking time is 15-20 minutes. The sticks should be nicely browned and cross. If you have to bake them in preparation, you can put them briefly into the hot oven again before serving.
