Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of hamburger buns, large
  • 1 serving of pulled pork from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g bacon, sliced
  • ½ bottle of barbecue sauce
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce
  • 1 m.-sized tomato(s)
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 8 jalapeño(s) from the jar (slices)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the pulled pork in the oven at 180°C for 25 minutes according to the package instructions. Then shred it with two forks and add half a bottle of barbecue sauce. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes. In the meantime, slice the onions and caramelize them in a pan with 1 tablespoon of margarine and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Slice the cucumber and tomato. Fry the bacon slices without adding any fat until crispy. Now top the burger buns as desired. I top my burgers first with pulled pork, then with the onions, lettuce, bacon, cucumber, tomato, and jalapeños.
