Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g Hokkaido pumpkin(s)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp, heaped fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 90 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp, heaped flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled chili flakes
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Grate the pumpkin and mix with the salt. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the mixture in batches until golden brown on both sides. Tastes delicious with herb curd or something similar.
