Pumpkin – quince – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g pumpkin flesh
  • 400 g quince(s)
  • 100 g water
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Rub the quinces with a cloth, remove the cores, and cut the flesh into pieces. Peel the pumpkin, scrape out the seeds and the soft inside, and cut the flesh into small cubes. Place the water, pumpkin flesh, and quinces in a saucepan. Add the lemon juice and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then mix with the preserving sugar. Boil gently for 4 minutes. Purée with a hand blender. Fill into prepared jars.
