Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can corn with broth
  • 4 tbsp Miracle Whip (or Balance if needed)
  • 2 dashes of Maggi
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

very quick, easy, a different sauce

Pour the drained corn into a salad bowl. Depending on the desired consistency of the sauce, add about 2-4 tablespoons of Miracle Whip (Balance) and whisk with a fork until the sauce foams slightly. Add salt, pepper, and Maggi (with Maggi, season gently first, then taste and add another splash if desired). Mix everything well again, then add the corn, stir, and you’re done! It’s a great side dish for barbecues if you want to serve several salads and don’t always like the “one-size-fits-all” salad. It also tastes delicious (for corn lovers) with just baguette with or without herb butter (even toasted) or hearty brown bread. I’ve also poured it over pasta as a “makeshift” solution and heated it briefly—not bad either (although it only tastes so good with this mayonnaise, I’ve already tested it). As mentioned, this salad is for anyone who loves corn in all its variations – preferably plain. Calories: Miracle Whip 23% fat (balance 10% fat), approx. 20g complete: 253kcal/239kcal.
