Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 16 slice(s) Salami, Hungarian
  • 1 jar of lettuce (Pusztasalat), 180 g drained weight
  • 4 slices of Edam cheese
  • Tomato paste
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 21 minutes

Spread the slices of toast with tomato paste. Top four slices with four slices of salami each. Spread the well-drained Pusztasalata salad over the salami. Place a slice of Edam cheese on each slice, sprinkle with paprika, and cover with the second slice of toast. Bake in a sandwich grill or contact grill for about 6 minutes. Cut diagonally and serve.
