Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels
- ½ tube(s) tomato paste
- ½ onion(s)
- 1 cube of meat broth
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 1 jar Puszta salad
- 400 ml water
- 2 cl tomato ketchup
- salt and pepper
- oil
- Paprika powder
- chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 15 minutes
Cut the schnitzel into strips and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove the seeds and membranes from the bell peppers and cut into thin strips, approximately 4 cm long. Drain the Puszta lettuce well. Finely dice the onion. Sear the schnitzel strips on all sides in oil. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Lightly fry the onion, bell pepper strips, and Puszta lettuce. Then pour in the water, add the tomato paste, stock cube, and tomato ketchup, and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder, if desired. Return the schnitzel strips to the pan, simmer for 15-30 minutes, and season again. Serve with fries, country potatoes, or rice and salad.
