QimiQ cream flan with strawberry sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g cream (QimiQ), low-calorie, thickened
  • 50 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 150 ml whipped cream
  • 400 g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp cherry brandy (optional)
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Whisk the cream until smooth. Add the quark, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla sugar; mix well. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour the mixture into four molds lined with cling film and refrigerate for 3 hours. For the berry sauce, puree the strawberries with kirsch and sugar. Turn the flan out of the molds and serve with the berry sauce.
